Hello to everyone reading this post. What was the month that just passed in front if our eyes?
Answer: ________________
(clue: Check the title)
You are correct! it is September, the month of autumn. Where the leaves on the trees start to turn orange and fall. (though sadly Singapore does not have four seasons)
Why don't we look back on our fond memories in this starting-to-get-cold month, a.k.a, September and just enjoy the months left of 2024.

Mug Cake Recipe
This mug cake recipe is quick and easy and will not make a huge mess in your kitchen. So it is a perfect quick snack to make when you need more energy to study during the exam periods. There will also be a new category for quick and easy bakes! I hope you enjoy baking these cakes!
Equipment:
a microwave
a large microwave safe mug or a container
spoons
a toothpick or skewer
Ingredients you will need:
5 tbs all purpose flour
25g butter (melted)
2 tbs sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
3tbs milk
Cocoa powder (optional)
sprinkles (optional)
Chocolate chips (optional)
1/4 tsp baking powder
Steps:
Mix the melted butter with the sugar until dissolved
add in the vanilla extract and stir
fold in the flour with the baking powder
Baking tip: Baking powder gives a rise in cakes and any type of batter. The end product will be fluffy and airy! But do not misuse it! You may give the dessert the wrong texture!
To make the chocolate mug cake, these are the steps:
Following from the last steps, add in the cocoa powder and fold in the chocolate chips or chunks.
To make the party mug cake, these are the steps:
Fold in the sprinkles
Add 1/2 tsp of almond extract
Baking tip: Almond extract gives nutiness and brings in the party vibe! It can make a huge difference in vanilla and party cakes.
(Party cakes are just cakes with sprinkles baked inside with sometimes a well. But sometimes, they add sprinkles into a hole cut out in the cake. So when you cut it open, sprinkles will flow out! They are often vanilla flavoured and topped with whipped cream and more sprinkles.)
Back to the mug cakes:
After adding the extra stuff based on what flavour you want, microwave the cake mixture for 1 min 30 sec.
Take it out and insert the toothpick inside. The toothpick c=should come out clean.
Add any topping you want
enjoy!

Teacher's Day
Teacher's Day this year was a total BLAST! We had fun the whole day. Now, let's walk through the series of events happening that memorable day and recall those memories.
Starting at around 7 am in the morning, students in the class whipped themselves into a frenzy by running to their sibling classes to steal balloons to decorate our classroom. While the other people in the class decorated the whiteboard into a "Happy teacher's day" board with compliments on Miss Wong and Mdm Latifah. The words "Happy Teacher's Day" were written in font size 200, decorated with Wanying's singnature butterflies and flowers. This is what it looked like:

Around 7: 25 a.m. in the morning we were forced to leave the classroom and go to the hall to do silent reading and prepare for assembly. After a few moments, the concert began. We sung songs like 谢谢你 and Qifa's teacher's day song 2024 which was sung by 2 members of the choir.
And around 8: 30 a.m. There was a game of hot and cold where teachers would be guided by a NEL. The teachers would be in blindfolds and would need to pick up the object. The NEL will say hot when the teacher is close to the object and cold when the teacher move further away from it.
Finally at 9 am, the voting of the teacher's awards results came out. Miss Wong won the most patient teacher of the P3 and P4 level. Good Job! Miss wong.
At 9: 30 a.m. , the class returned to our classroom, everyone cluttered around the door to suprise Miss Wong and Mdm Latifah. Take a look at the footage below!
At 9: 45 a.m. we went gift distubuting to the teachers in the staff rooms and the classrooms. It was a really fun day!
And finally at 10:30 a.m. , we went home for and early lunch. Yum!
Overall, this year's teacher's day was the most remarkable and beyond my expectations, I hope we will all remember this teacher's day for years to come.

4F 2024. Happy teacher's day!!!

kiyami part 3

"Tweet!" The birds chirped melodiously as they gracefully landed on the delicate branches of the sakura tree, their colourful feathers creating a contrast against the pale pink blossoms. The gentle rustling of the leaves added a soothing soundtrack to the serene scene. Kiyami, drawn by the symphony of nature, made her way to the familiar spot where her friends often gathered, seeking solace and companionship under the comforting shade of the sakura tree. The sunlight filtered through the canopy, casting dappled patterns on the ground, creating a tranquil ambiance that enveloped her in a sense of peace and belonging.
Kiyami started sketching, telling nature her life and feelings about the world. Birds landed around her, tweaking every little detail in her art every time something changes.
"Hey, Judy" Vanessa called out. "Should we get tea from the small shop in this park?"
"Why not?" Judy chirped. "That place is really nice."
They walked in the brick trails with petals falling around them.
"hey is that kiyami?" Judy asked. "Kiyami!"
Kiyami noticed and immediately turned and walked toward them. "Hi!" Judy and Vanessa told her they were going to grad a tea in the shop at the park. "Why not!" Kiyami said gleefully. In the school, they have been teaching the japanese students english too. Immediately, they headed towards the shop.
"One hot matcha green tea, one matcha latte and one oolong tea. Thank you!"
Once they got their drinks, they sat down and chatted. Kiyami then took out her painting and worked on toning the paints.
"That looks nice." Judy commented. "You should really consider putting it in a gallery."
"Well, I have a lot of these in my home." Kiyami said.
As you might think they would do, yes, they went to Kiyami's house to look at her paintings and other stuff. The room was filled with an eclectic mix of art supplies, sculptures, and handcrafted items, each telling a story of its own.
"Wow!"Judy said in amazed as she first time come to Kiyami's house. "We should sell these unwanted paintings at school and outside."
"Sounds good!" Vanessa and Kiyami chimed in together.
The girls then discussed and picked out paintings over a cup of tea and some mochi. Who'd knew Kiyami could actually socialise!
