Part 1: The mystery of Luke Harold.

    The small town of Rowlett, Luke Harold was known for his curiosity and liking  mazes. One evening, he received a mysterious invitation delivered by an envelope with no return address. Inside was a single note: “Meet me at the old mall at 8, tonight! I need your help.”

      Luke felt excited but however, he was a bit scared. The old mall had a dark history, rumored to be the site of several unexplained disappearances over the years. Still, his adventurous spirit pushed him to go. He grabbed his flashlight, donned a warm jacket, and headed out.

     As he hiked through the forest and arrived at the quarry near the mall, the moon illuminated the jagged rocks and the stillness of the place. Luke scanned the area but found no one there. Just as he was about to turn back, he heard a soft rustling from the bushes.

      “Hello there? Is anyone there? Are you the one who gave me the note?” he called out, but  to no avail.

 Suddenly, a shadow darted across his path, causing him to freeze. “ Grrrrrr.” without warning, the ground beneath him gave way, and Luke tumbled down a hidden slope into darkness.
